The Best Man

Shut-down, Shut-down, Shut-down! It wasn’t a laptop, desktop or device that shut-down. It was Tracy’s mind.

At first she thought it just blanked out. But she found out her mind was fatigued.

She had to deal with too many things for a few months and it had been overwhelming.

If anyone had told her that marriage would be like this she wouldn’t have believed.
Yes, she heard a lot of people
who offered advice on her wedding day told her that marriage was not a bed of roses. Some others told her it was a school and learning ground.

She agreed and accepted but somewhere in the recess of her mind that part that some people referred to as ‘Church mind’ she never believed it. It can’t be that bad!

Where's my pain?

I woke up this wonderful morning and like the 21st century youth, I turned on my phone and went straight to my BBM feeds.

As I was scrolling through, I noticed that a former colleague had these cute, lovely twin babies that made you want to have twins immediately
...untill you remember the price of diapers, baby food, attention, love and also the responsibility that comes with each life that we are entrusted with.
When she told me why they are special, I decided to share it as per presenter things that some people like to call ofofo or gbeborun things.

Mrs Adeshina is a Pastor’s wife; this write-up might seem religious but I’m bringing it out to you so you can be encouraged and hold on firmly to what you believe.

There’s a whole lot of sadness and depression in the world right now and trust me it will get worse.

Although our parents complained when they were younger, you can’t compare the life in the 1990’s to this present day. Let’s just keep encouraging one another. That’s what this is all about.
I’ll give this to you undiluted so you can sip it in like hot sweet seasoned noodles or pasta that’s garnished with nice vegetables and that fingers your belly. Enjoy it.

Hope & Faith

Based on a true life story.

Oh the beauty that of the fresh air that slaps your cheeks and causes your very existence to smile with all your six senses.

When the ambiance of tears, anguish, bitterness and grief has crept out of your soul and you can only laugh from your skull till it travels down through the matrix and gets to your heel.

I’m sure you’re wondering what I’m talking about that’s making my tummy sweet as if I poured honey there shebi?

Our Song, Our Story

Lets try to sing a song
An incomplete song
For now its presentable and manageable
Like a quick morning coffee before work
Like the lightning during the rain
So I’ll sing it like that
Well, its a song of it all
Of our love story
