The hair salon is usually a place to hear different things.
From all the juicy gossips, what’s happening in the area, who is doing what, and movies (for hair styles).
This is a
quite true!
We saw this
Yoruba movie and it was quite interesting (I forgot the title sha). Let me give
you a brief synopsis.
A woman got
married to this man (very handsome man) to the envy of her friends. To them,
the guy was quite a catch. Tall, dark, and Handsome.
She actually
went through a lot to get him; from going into his house to cook, buying him
expensive clothes and gadgets, getting someone to do his laundry (I was so glad
she didn’t do that) and some other things which I’m not aware of because of our
Power Holding Company.
This brought about
an argument in the salon. How can a woman get a man?
The first
woman said it was quite easy. Get pregnant and visit an African Magic &
Science to make sure he doesn’t leave her at the baby mama stage.
Another woman
said any man can easily avoid that. His family could get a stronger African Magic
& Science specialist to free such a man.
I continued to
enjoy the argument as other people took sides with both parties but when it
dragged on for too long, I decided to spice it up: I asked what would happen if
she lost the pregnancy.
See commotion o! Chei! I couldn’t stop
laughing: a woman said she rejected it in Jesus name; I reminded her she said
she would use African Magic & Science and then she told me it didn’t
matter. She would use it to protect and insure the foetus/baby.
To make the
conversation more interesting, young ladies came into the salon and brought in
youthful excitement.
One of the
girls said the women were no longer the reigning queens. Times have changed,
intelligence had spiked up, and young ladies had the bodies and skill to make
remain on their knees.
There are
killer clothes to unknot the bolts in a man’s mind, exquisite body shapes, (and
shapers/ plastic surgery) different styles of sex available and the internet
presents many advantages.
That’s for the younger generation.
You should
have seen the older women turn green.
I remember a
story of a family friend who went through a divorce. She actually had
everything a man wanted in a woman but many years later the same things she had
at the beginning that brought them together could no longer keep the marriage
together.
Does that mean
there’s something more that we don’t know about?
What could it
be?

How come they didn't talk about prayer and fasting. I know a woman that almost lost her husband but by prayer and fasting, the guy came back on his knees after 5 years.
