BALLON D’OR: FOR THE LOVE OF THE TEAM.

Last night, I was making dinner when someone opened the door leading to the living room. I saw Pogba’s hair and I shouted Balo! Someone chocked and others were laughing plus you should have seen the look I fetched myself. I simply continued with the food.

LEAVE THRASH FOR LAWMA.

On the first of January, Olamide gave people slangs for the year and here are some hilarious ones I've seen on bbm.
Can I get an Amen!

FUNFILLED OR FULFILLED.

Someone asked me the normal question “How are you? How did your day go?”

Like so many other people, I answered fine.

This brought another question to me: “What makes your day fine?”

Everyday we find out we are still on this present planet called earth, we rush through each day trying to settle ourselves in different aspects: family, work, education etc.

22 OR COMPATIBILITY

Growing up with a sister and later many sisters, I had to learn a lot. Most times I had to learn what others wanted and go their way. Sometimes, everyone decided but when some things are 22 (2 good 2 be true) you just take over (have your own way).

I WISH YOU THE BEST OF TEARS.

Happy New Year. I wish you every good and beautiful thing you wish yourself. I’m not a fan of New Year resolutions. This isn’t because I’m lazy but why should I make one or many when I know something my change midway?

YOU MAY BE NEXT

It’s the final day of 2015, some people are excited and some people don’t see any difference. But I wish you a memorable 2016.

My cousin Aderonke Adeniyan (she wrote the Father's day story here) is going to be telling us what she learnt in 2015 and its a lovely piece.

Enjoy it.

...2015... BE BETTER.

I’m still focusing on what we learnt in 2015. This time, my brother is doing the talking. Someone said this year was a sad year and I think this write up properly conveys that thought. The good thing is that there will always be silver lining in the cloud.

Hope you enjoy it.

... MY 2015...

How do you grow in life? By going through your experiences to see what you did well and what you could have done better.

Today, my “personal person” Damilola Oluwalonimi will be taking us through her year.

Enjoy it and learn!

SOMETHING AMAZING.

It’s been a wonderful year with its highs and lows. Like a comment that came in yesterday, I’m sure one or two people have lost a loved one that made the year look bleak.

2015’s GIFT.

Happy Boxing Day. When I was young, we used to celebrate this day in Church and that’s actually where it started: gifts were put into a box and the box was opened the day after Christmas. That’s what birthed Boxing Day.

I hear the distant drum beat faintly
It’s been
Wonderful, interesting, exciting, glorious and fun
I’m glad to be with you
Now and Forever
